# VoiceHue

> VoiceHue is a free online text-to-speech tool (TTS) that turns text into natural-sounding speech in your browser. Paste up to 3,000 characters, pick a voice and listen. No sign-up and nothing to install.

- A developer API: OpenAI-compatible text to speech at POST voicehue.com/v1/audio/speech with API keys. The free plan gives each signed-in account up to 2 keys with 10,000 characters a month, 2,000 a day and 10 requests a minute per key, standard voices only. GET voicehue.com/v1/voices lists the voice ids, no key needed.
- A remote MCP server for AI assistants and agents at voicehue.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC over POST, header "Authorization: Bearer <VoiceHue API key>"). Tools: text_to_speech, list_voices. The same keys and the same free plan as the API; audio is returned as MP3 (default) or WAV.
- Share links for generated audio: the Share button next to Download MP3 creates a public link that anyone who has it can open. Links last 90 days, the creator can delete them at any time, and each shared page has a report button. A link holds only the text, the voice and its settings; the audio is generated when someone presses play.

## Supported languages

- Speech: English, Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Cloud voices cover English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese and Korean and download as MP3. English, Spanish, Portuguese and French can also be generated on the user's device; other languages use the voices of the browser.
