  2. Terms of Service

Terms of Service

By using VoiceHue you agree to these terms. They are written to be short and readable; if you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

VoiceHue provides free online text to speech in your browser, with up to 3,000 characters per conversion, and cloud voices that create audio on our servers, with up to 1,200 characters per request. Features that are marked as coming soon are not part of the service until they are released.

Your content

You are responsible for the text you convert. Only use text you have the right to use, and do not use the service for unlawful, hateful, deceptive or infringing content.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service, bypass its limits, or use it to impersonate a real person in a way that could mislead others. Where the law requires you to disclose that speech is synthetic, you are responsible for doing so.

Voices and availability

Some voices come from your device or browser and vary between systems. We do not guarantee that a particular voice, language or feature is always available, and the service may change or pause without notice.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We do not promise that speech will be free of mispronunciations or errors, so check important audio before you rely on it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, VoiceHue is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the free service.

Accounts and paid features

If paid plans become available, separate terms for them will be published before they start. The developer API follows the limits and rules on its documentation page.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will publish the new version on this page. Questions are welcome on the contact page.

Cloud voices

Audio from cloud voices is provided as is, without any promise of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Rate limits and daily character quotas apply, they can change, and requests above them are refused. Do not use cloud voices to create, or to try to get around our limits to create, illegal, abusive, hateful, deceptive or infringing content.
