VoiceHue reads Spanish aloud for free, up to 3,000 characters per conversion, and Spanish can be generated entirely on your device. There is no account and nothing to install.
Free text to speech: paste up to 3,000 characters, pick a voice and listen in your browser. The voices load in a moment.
Paste your Spanish text on the homepage, choose a Spanish voice and press play. Include the accents and the opening question and exclamation marks so the intonation is correct. The voice list mixes the voices of your device with on-device voices.
Voices differ by accent. Many devices offer Spanish for Mexico, the United States, Argentina or Spain; pick the one closest to your audience. If you prepare content for Latin America, preview it with a Latin American voice before finalising the script.
One conversion takes 3,000 characters. Spanish uses more characters per word than English, so that is about 480 words, or three to four minutes of speech. Split longer scripts into parts at paragraph breaks.
Cloud voices are live: they play in the browser and download as MP3, free within the daily limits. The voices of your device also work for listening. A free developer API is available on the developers page, and one-time credit packs are planned, with no date yet (see pricing).
Creators in Latin America and Spain preview scripts for short videos, teachers prepare listening material, and students check pronunciation. Since the audio can be generated on your device, you can work from a laptop or a phone with a stable connection after the first voice download.
Write numbers and currencies the way they should be read, spell out abbreviations on first use, and keep paragraphs short so the intonation resets. If a name from another language is mispronounced, try a phonetic respelling in the preview text only.
If your audience also reads Portuguese or English, both are available with the same free tool and the same limits, so you can compare how a script sounds in each language before you decide which versions to publish.
